FACEBOOK’S NEW FEATURE WILL HELP YOU AVOID YOUR EX AFTER BREAKING UP

Nothing is as gut wrenching as having to see status updates and photos from an ex on Facebook at the end of a relationship.
Even worse is making up your mind on whether to delete the old photos from your Facebook entirely.
Luckily, Facebook is so understanding. The social networking site has just launched a new tool on its mobile app that will make it easier to ‘take a break’ from seeing pictures and posts from your ex.
When you change your relationship status to ‘single,’ Facebook will ask if you want to ‘take a break’ from seeing pictures and posts of your ex.
The app then presents options that remove the other party’s posts from your feed, limits which of your status updates they’ll see and helps you untag them from posts and photos.

You’ll also be able to hide certain things you post from your ex (pictures of you and a new flame, for instance) and can also limit people’s ability to see past posts of the two of you are together.

The best part is that Facebook will not inform your ex-partner of your decision.
The company is currently  testing the feature with a small number of users, and plans to expand access outside the US early next year.
